Great view. Sufficient to enjoy beer. The rest rather a bit overpriced average. And felt more appearance than reality .... If the salad sauce tastes like it comes out of the bag. And then the salad in the beer garden is almost more expensive than the salad in a restaurant, which has side dishes ...
Great facility with lots of space and a great view. We ate and drank very tasty after a walk. There is also enough choice. Card payment is possible. One star less because of the higher prices that weren't really justified.
Fantastic location (very nice view from the terrace / garden) and great ambience in the restaurant. Staff very friendly (especially the young staff), but could generally be a bit more attentive. Food: There is still a lot of room up in terms of taste. For what is offered is unfortunately much too expensive and very small portions. Sufficient parking spaces available. Dogs are possible!
Had the goose as a dish. Meat was very dry and the dumplings didn't taste like anything. Said this in the end. But was only apologized for it. But that was it ... too bad. For these prices, the food there is very bad and not worthwhile.
Were in great weather after a very nice walk with ? around 4 p.m. to finish on the terrace as a guest. Very friendly service. Without asking for water for the dog. Two ? and a delicious Spundekäs € 20.50. A very high price for the wine in a wine-growing region. With these prices I will probably not have a pint here.
If you want to eat well and tasty, this is the place for you. However, one portion is definitely not enough to fill you up. For two we paid more than 60 euros with 2 main courses and a beer and a water.
We were there for work (training / product presentation) Great atmosphere and the staff was nice, friendly and attentive. Great location and great view as far as Frankfurt. Vineyards right on the estate, followed by a wine tour was interesting and the wine was very tasty. Will definitely go there more often to eat or drink wine in the future ...
A great location! Wonderful view over the vineyards down to the Rhine and over to Frankfurt. Immediately gives you that holiday feeling. I was "only" in the large hall with a stage, as I was at a larger professional event on Saturdays. The room was well set with a lot of space between the tables. The stage and the roof beams are great - great atmosphere. The necessary ventilation was always provided in between. For us there was a lot of staff on duty and at least friendly at my table. The food was very good too. I can't say anything about the prices because I was invited, the food was ordered and therefore I didn't see a menu. For the fact that we were around 100 people and each was served 3 courses as a dish, it went really great. Everyone had their food quickly and it was warm too. I was now slightly irritated by the many bad reviews and will definitely test the Hofgut privately to see whether my positive experience is confirmed. ? In any case, I felt very comfortable there during my 7-hour stay. ?
We were there in a larger group last Friday. The waiter was rarely rude or arrogant. With such lofty prices you should be a lot more professional. Didn't tip for such a service, of course. There was hardly anything on the menu for the group where many resorted to pizza that wasn't on it. However, it was very tasty. Another visit is unlikely, however.
Lower price for brunch on Sunday, for what was available 45 € are not justified. In addition, as a surprise, there is the table water which is already on the table upon arrival and the orange juice is charged extra, so with unmotivated staff on Sunday lunchtime you quickly go to € 106 and drive home disappointed. Going for brunch is not recommended here.
We were there when the restaurant opened at 12 noon. It wasn't busy yet and we only had a few drinks so we can only say positive things. We were served quickly and in a friendly manner and the drinks were also there quickly. The view on site speaks for itself! The prices of the drinks were okay.
The view is beautiful over here. The service could do better though.
Unfortunately I am more than shocked by the brunch today. Neither the service nor the selection of food were convincing. After reaching into an old sticky tomato while reaching for the plate at the buffet and discovered more dirty plates, I looked for a clean plate. After several tries, I found one, shared my experience with the waiter, and didn't even get an apology. The employees could not tell what was in the containers of the hot food and neither was the food warm. Cheese was only camembert and the like. Gouda, cream cheese nil. There were also no lactose-free products. The desert was secretly set up in the next room and we could only discover it when we left the restaurant. A note from the service staff would have been nice. However, this matched the overall impression of the service quality. On top of that, the bottle of water cost € 8.80 and I would have expected orange juice included with a brunch of € 45 per person instead of € 3.90 per glass. It was not even asked whether it was tasty, the high chair for our previously registered 3-year-old daughter took a while to get and only on request. That was definitely my last visit to the Laubenheimer Höhe, even though the surroundings are so beautiful.
Super nice location with a great view. The staff was not very friendly and the food was at best satisfactory. When it comes to prices, you expect more than just standard. Pity!
Beautiful and relaxing place, with an amazing view of Frankfurt and sky.
Beautiful views.
We came for the beer garden. Beautiful views. Kids enjoyed the bounce house. Spundekäs was yummy. Good beer and wine selection. Service could have been quicker. You may need to call for a reservation if you’re going later in the day.
Very nice all-round view. Table reservation, bouncy castle etc. For the view and for a drink, but not for a meal. The salad with turkey breast for almost 16 euros was unfortunately very overpriced for what was on offer. Unfortunately I don't have a photo. Therefore only 3 stars.
Unfriendly reception. We were told that the table we had sat at on the terrace was reserved without any greeting. A simple "hello", maybe staff to instruct or even to point out an alternative would have been enough for me to try it another time. But that's how it was for us with the Laubenheimer Höhe estate.
A really nice restaurant with a service staff that is second to none in terms of poor quality and rudeness. At some point the waiter began to enchant the guests with sentences like "are you kidding me". A unique experience! Maybe others will have better luck!
5 people at 8.30 p.m. (garden open until 10 p.m.). Ordering of drinks did not work, food order was moderate, old bread (slices dried out ...), cutlery had to be reordered. At 9.30 p.m. we got cashed and were encouraged to leave in a "friendly" manner. No collection of data according to legal requirements, no disinfection of the tables, card was taken from the next table (at which guests were sitting and the card was not wiped off). Positive: the wonderful view.
A walk through the vineyards that is worth it! Strolling through the vineyards of Laubenheimer Höhe is a very good opportunity to get in touch with nature while learning about the wine culture of the region thanks to the information boards that have been placed next to the vineyards. An inspiring and cultural walk to enjoy alone, with your partner or with dogs.
Tasty Beer!
Nice place at a height, you can see river, ice skating also.
Wonderful wine ? A good place for gaming
Very nice location for a company party, however I did not like the food this time.
Beautiful and atmospheric space
I enjoy on each visit. It is nice to watch the city of Frankfurt from such a distance and from above. When the weather is clear, the paths drawn by planes in the sky turn into interesting signs. The service, menu variety and prices were affordable. You need to drive slowly on the roads of the region. No parking problem.
Good fondue experience. Great variety of fresh beef, meat and chicken. Good sauces and excellent salad and side dishes. Quite crowded so service was slightly overloaded. :( Chefs not too creative, to provide us with something free of garlic... Great red wines though. ;)
Decent food, slightly pricey, good views, romantic atmosphere, nothing special.
The food took extremely long to be served (4,5 hours for a salad, main dish and dessert), the waiters mixed up orders for drinks multiple times. The food very tasty, the restaurant nice and cozy.
Interesting place with the possibility of sports. But the restaurant is cramped, but the food is very tasty.
Nice view, very nice staff and good atmosphere
Nice but pricey... Top quality food
Nice place, wonderful view, fun for kids due to the ice-skating, a bit expensive
Great wine
Top Location
Beautiful view. Mainz ~Frankfurt wide view is wonderful.
The view on the vineyards and the surrounding area is without compare. The food is okay, but not outstanding.wiuld recommend though for a refreshing drink with a marvelous view!
Debit card payment on request with difficulties... kudos for the view of Frankfurt and the nice staff though.
Ok
Here you can celebrate super great, whether in small groups or over a hundred people. Exclusive, perfect service, delicious food and a very large selection of wines. In addition there is the ingenious panoramic view to Frankfurt. Simply beautiful and also something meenzerisch.
Really good position with great view of Rhein-Main valley. Well layed out and furnished terrace. Food good but not worth the extra €5 or so price difference for similar dishes at other places in the region.Good service and drink selection.
Great view, beer garden priced just fine. Great offer for children. However, both wine, as well as food, in mid-April in good weather only very limited available.
Nice view...
top of the top
Lovely experience! Played curling for my first time (loved it!) and had a very nice dinner!
It was decent place, large hall like 30-40tables. Booking in advance and not so cheap for a small town and far from the centre. Going there is by taxi or bus. Menu is good, also you can preorder. In the building next to it there is a horse riding area which is indoor and also in good weather you can ride outside. Personally think it is a good place
need a car to go there, ice skating is good for kids and adults as well , and food is expensive.
Nice party place
